Charles, OOOOhhhh, looks absolutely lucious - Where is this?
Debi
Looks like a shot they would use in a fairy tale as the good guys make it to the castle. Beautiful!
Charles thanks, I think I can feel myself thawing out a bit. There's a beautiful snow ice mixture falling here now --- this picture is just what I needed.
Sue
Is that really Seattle?
Very cool picture....
Charles,
If I just had a picnic lunch and hiking boots, I would have a field day., Beautiful!
Debi, this is on Whidbey Island at Fort Casey----walking along the bluffs.
Connie, it is that sort of look isn't it?
Suesan, I wish it looked like that here now as well:)
Lisa, Whidbey Island-----not too far from Seattle.
Kathy, thanks!
Mary, that is kind of what we were doing----beautiful hike.
... what I would give to take that walk !
... it does look like a fairy tale scene...
Thanks for sharing Charles ...
Cheers !
Sheldon
Looks magical Charles. Makes me think of some of the city streets where I live in the summer where the branches shade the road. It's my favorite kind of path, road, driveway and why I have underground utilities, so I could keep my trees.
Sheldon, you are welcome---glad you liked it.

Tammy, it does have that effect doesn't it. This trail was like this for about a mile.
Wonderful photograph! The foliage in your part of the world is beautiful as is much of the area! Thanks for your email today, I am now a subscriber!
Wow Charles, I love the tunnel effect and of course Ft Casey is one of my favorite destinations on Whitby Island, my favorite being Deception Pass...
Russel, thanks.

Paul, then you probably know this picture as well.
Looks pretty cool...but it ain't 32 and humid - lol
Jim, that is for sure---more like July:).
Hi Charles! I love to take my kids to Fort Casey, but I have a hard enough time keeping track of them without finding that mile long path there! And I see you have the same picture of the Deception Pass Bridge as I do, except where did my husband go???
Theresa, too funny, your husband slipped just as I took the picture:) I will bet there are thousands of similar pictures.

Um, now all I need is my hiking boots, a picnic lunch, nice bottle of wine (wife optional). Oops, now I gone and done it, forgot she's the one who introduced me to your blog.
Great shot Charles.
Michael, she seems pretty nice----I STRONGLY recommend bringing her along. :)
this looks like a magic forest from one of the elf movies..
Konnie thanks for commenting---the whole area is magical.
