Since I started blogging at ActiveRain last November, I have been quite excited about the "possibilities" that ActiveRain represents for those of us involved with the many facets of real estate. I
have watched with envy as other people are able to successfully get the people they invite to actually fill out their profiles and start blogging. There are people that have gotten 10, 20, 30 and even 180 people to sign up. How the heck do they do this? Do they pay them? Threaten them? Give them their first born? How do they do it?
It is my nature to share what excites me. I leave it to that "excitement" to generate what it takes for people, in turn, to motivate themselves. I realize that what is right for me is not the right fit for someone else.
Last night the 25th person I invited to ActiveRain signed up and filled out their profile-----too cool.
I hope you will all join with me in giving a warm welcome to Kelli Derum, a very good agent that I am very happy to have the opportunity to work with.
So, Kelli, welcome to ActiveRain----have fun in the Rain----have fun blogging! If there is anything I can do to help----just ask. There are tons of groups to join and plenty of resources to find out how to fully use all that ActiveRain has to offer. Explore. Have fun.

PS, for those of you that are new to my blog (or for some other "unexplained" reason have never noticed)
all pictures and smiley-face inserts (emoticons) (when I use them) have messages that show up when you point at them with your cursor.

It is very rewarding when someone actually takes my suggestion and joins!
Charles - wow, 25 converts is great! I think four people I've invited have actually signed up.
I like the emoticon messages, too cool!
Happy points to you, Charles, with the new convert! You are a bloggin' maniac today!!
I agree with you Charles, I myself have invited over 30 some individuals to join. No success at is point. I can just imagine what you are feeling. I glad to see you have an invite under your belt. LOL
Good for you Charles! keep em' coming! If you invite them, they will come. Well, some of them at least. Kristin
It is exciting....even more exciting when they take it serious and really start to blog!

I like how you jump in and do such a nice welcome. I don't think I have ever heard back from the guy I signed in under. I try to at least send a greating when I get newbies, but not all of mine stick with it. be good cheryl
Aventura, it is indeed
Penny, this was the 25th person I have invited but the first to actually take me up on it:)
Barbara, I intended to my usual two today, but then Kelli signed up and I couldn't resist:)
Roy, thanks----hard to tell what makes it click with people
Kristin, some people seem to do better at it than others
Kaleb, yes---no point if they don't have some fun with it:)
Cheryl, thanks
Hi Charlie, I have invited many people to join--I think many people are afraid of blogging. I like trying new things (except for electronics) and have had a lot of fun with it.
Leslie, probably true-----the only thing I am afraid of is ice cream:)
Wow ... 25 people. I haven't been able to get a sole to sign up. Great job Charles and welcome to AR Kelli
Sean, I WISH---she was the 25th invite----not the 25th to accept:)
That's wonderful someone accepted your invitation. I wonder why the people I invite just don't get the benefits of being in the Rain. Oh well, I'll keep trying. I will definitely go and welcome Kelli.
Trunda, I know that when I first signed up I saw its value----and still didn't do anything about blogging for another 5 months----much to the ribbing of my buddy Steve----who got me to sign up:)
Kelli, if Charles recommends you, you have to be a very special person and I look forward to reading a post with you as the author...
Good work Charlie. I have invited two people. One of them, at first, seemed like he was going to be a do nothing. Then he started working out. The other one never even logged into AR.
It is interesting Charles. I have invited over 50 people. And of the ones that have signed up, most don't do anything with AR. Go figure...
Charles, I also have invited about 30 people, and so far, only two have taken me up on it. I don't know why that is. Kelli, WELCOME TO ACTIVE RAIN! Like Charles says... Get Blogging!
Maureen McCabe (Ohio) has had 73 people accept her invitations, and she actually gets more than 1/2 of her blogging points from her invited people.
Paul, thanks for the comment
Steve, you have never told me that story----who was it?
Michael, sounds like that is the way of it---hopefully they get something out of it even if they aren't blogging.
Kevin, I know all about making points for people:) (Steve are you listening?)
even if they just sign in and get the bulliten/digest whatever, it is worth it. You can get info from this group, once one learns to search- watch out, they will be hooked. be good cw
Sending out the invites is easy, but getting the acceptance is the hard part. I even had family turn me down. Congrats to your first.
Cheryl there is a lot to be gained here---no matter what level one plays at.
Gary, I think family already think they know us----what do they know!
Well B,
I cannot divulge names. Let us just say that that squirrel I hired is a much better producer on a daily basis.
I've invited tons of people to join. Many of them actually have but my problem is in getting them active - which most of them aren't. Its very frustrating!
But welcome to Kelli! Have fun in the Rain!

Hey, Charlie,
That's my son's Kite!
Greg, cool kite----but cooler kid:)
