Mr Charles,

I do not know why you are so proud of collecting bugs.

Quite a picture Charlie. Did you have to wait for it to land or was it just there and posed for you when you walked up?

My butt was dragon in getting my WW post out today. I guess that I will need to find something other than a dragon fly...

Glenn----it was a "poser"----never did fly away----this was from about 3 inches away

Michael, maybe a frog from your pond to eat the dragon fly?

Posted by Charles Buell, Seattle Home Inspector (Charles Buell Inspections.com) almost 2 years ago

Wow, is that a dragon fly on that musk ox's horn?

Jay it is a good thing it is not on the Orangutan's butt!

Posted by Charles Buell, Seattle Home Inspector (Charles Buell Inspections.com) almost 2 years ago

Charles - That is one of the more spectacular DragonFly photos I've seen.  I always find it amazing that they come in a variety of colors.  There's blue, like the one before, but there is also a brilliant fire engine red, as well as other colors.

Great catch, Charles.  I never have my camera handy when I need it.

Sweet pic Charles. I was flying my helicopter (it's yellow and has sort of a dragonfly shape) once when a dragonfly decided it had some love interest in it. Needless to say the dragonfly had a bad love affair and it did bring down my copter.

Myrl, they usually aren't such posers as this one was :)

Jane, I seem to always have mine with me---being an inspector and all

Don, that must have been one wicked big dragon fly!

Sue, yes---part of a pressure treated wood bridge

Troy, I tried to get it to give me a ride out of the bog----but it was not having any of that.

Mr Charles,

You ought to put photos of your bug collection online. That would be so fun.
