Whether you find yourself crawling across a desert or across a garage floor there is little to support the notion that one can ever truly know where one is going. The journey almost always involves foresight, planning, and When we start out on our journey, we are rarely aware of how few guarantees there are that we will ever get to where we are going, but we can find great comfort in knowing that we are always were we are. What if we don’t find any water in the desert, or a big car pulls into the garage while we are crossing? Whether we are concerned with getting water into us or are worried about getting the piss squished out of us, it is guaranteed that there will be some sort of struggle in whichever path we take Knowing when to change course is very important. Knowing when we have come to a dead end is important too----and not being afraid to turn around. More important than knowing that you chose the wrong path, is knowing that it was you that chose it. So as you head out across your own personal “garage floor of life”-----s t r e t c h yourself----give it all you’ve got. If you can get your head in the right place----your ass will follow. balls. In my experience, in spite of our planning, dreams and goals, we had better be prepared to have considerable “trust” in our journey----and a willingness to change course when necessary.

Charles......"If you can get your head in the right place----your ass will follow" and that's the best advice anyone could possibly give another person.....you're "good to go" as long as your head is not UP IT!!!
It sounds like you are just short of professing your love and appreciation of the Lord
who controls all our life and to whom we are to acknowledge.
Our Life is Our Life and it is because HE has control.
Praise and bless him each and everyday and HE will be with you on your path.

Barbara, ain't that the truth
Sonny, I have tons of love and appreciation for a great many things----there is really no shortage.
Mr Charles,
I believe, knowing you, that Mr St Louis has found your Achilles heals.
Nutsy
loved your last sentence. funny!
It appears that the weary traveller in your photograph was texting once when a car came into the garage. (S)he may be two now, looking for him/herself.
Mr Charles,
I am still focusing on you as I write this.
Nutsy
Nutsy, are you healed yet?
Angelia, thanks :)
Glenn, this him/her was so long a car could have easily cut it in half and both ends wander off in different directions.
Nutsy---amazing
Charlie, for some reason, your post reminds me of poster or Charlie Brown I had in my dorm room in college. The caption was...."With my luck, one day my ship will come in and I'll be at the airport." Your advice is far superior. Sure you're not Charles Schultz in disguise?
Mary, I am sure that Charles Schultz and I went to different schools together----or was it Charlie Brown----I can't remember:)
Charles,
Thoughtful post. Only you could come up with this. Too funny.
Terry, come on---you could have done it :)
You were in any interesting mood when you wrote this. I would like to know what was behind it!
Leslie, I do my best to not read to much into what I think-----I might not ever post anything if I did :)
Charlie,
Every day that goes by, I become more aware that Nutsy has your number.
And I ain't answering it either.
Mr Charles,
The boss means that I have you totally figured out and do not take baloney froms youse.
Nutsy
Nutsy, I do not eat food tainted by squirrels.

GREAT QUOTE!!
Carla, thanks
