nice image!
We, simply put, live in a country where the beauty never takes a rest.
I always love your wordless Wednesday photos. No ducks this time?
What a great photo Charles. The pacific northwest is a great palce to live isn't it?
Charles, great refection of the trees in the water! I'm not the sharpest in the morning, at first I thought the tree was laying down!
Debi
Oh boy, standing black wetlands =) great picture Charles!
I just love Wednesdays, don't you?
Paul
Alan, thanks
Craig---it is true----this is about a mile from my house
Jody---they were there---until I scared them off:)
Mike---simply the best place!
Debi, I know---I thought the same thing and I took it LOL
Paul, this is at Twin Pond in Shoreline. The ponds were created after the peat was mined out----now it is a county park/arboretum---pretty cool resource so close to my house.
Great photo. Loved the way the image plays games with your eyes....is the tree lying down...is it a reflection. Sort of like an inspector looking at a house and the seller looking at the same house. It's all in how you look at it.
Charles ~ This is a unbelievable picture. The reflections of the trees in the water and stunning.
Diane, it is all in how we look at it isn't it
Monique, thanks---all the lighting just happened to be perfect.
Very nice...almost looks like it could be in the jungle somewhere. I love the reflections in the water...looks very surreal.
Charles, the water is so calm. Great shot! ---Gloria
John----I didn't realize how cool the picture was until later when I was looking at them on my computer.
Gloria, thanks---it is in a very protected area so it stays calm a lot.
Musk ox alert!
I'm sitting here turning my head one way then the other trying to figure out which way the picture goes. It reminds me of the bayou so maybe I'm not seeing it right. Or at least I don't THINK you've got bayous up north there in Rainland.
Jay----Moose maybe :)
Kate----it is merely a reflection of itself :)
Awesome! I love water reflection pictures. This one reminds me of some of my favorites I took on the KY river.
I also saw a tree photo not yet up-righted on your computer. Actually, that might be a good series. Nice shot.
Lizette, thanks
Frank----here you go :)
Or how about this way :)
Like I said from a previous post, I need to be living where you do. All we see out here is SNOW!
Rich, that "lamb" should be following that lion pretty soon now :)
Mr Charles,
I am on the 12th branch on the left above aqua.
Nutsy
What a beautiful view. Makes me miss the north. I used to go hiking in New Hampshire as a kid. Some of the greatest memories I have.
Nathan, yes this is not exactly a "Southern" scene---although someone thought it was sort of "Bayou" looking:)
