Charles,

My Darlin' collects frogs, and she loves this photo!  Thanks.

Hi Charles,

How cute. There are a couple of rocks painted to look like things along highways here- we always look for them. And somebody painted "Big Foot" tracks accross the highway, but some authority (presumably) painted them over.

Hi Charles,

Someone is quite artistic!  I'm sure it's a traffic stopper too!  Thanks for sharing it with us!  Have a great day!

Love It!  I've been in a rut all day, and you just made me smile!  Thanks.

OK.......Here's the deal with the frog.  Yes, a very large glacial boulder, quite common around here.  This was Frog Rock State Park, a popular picnic site alongside the road when we were kids (1940s - 1960s).  It is now NOT looking like this, but, rather, weedy and grown-in, picnic benches long gone (State cut-backs, of course), and the entry roads blocked off.  Supposedly, the State of CT is making arrangements to have the Town of Eastford take it over, but I haven't heard anything recently.

He's terrrific! I so hope the town takes it over - it's sad to see our parks lose funding...

Prest Realty---that is the way it goes isn't it?

Chris see my comment to Connie above

Craig---same to you I am sure:)

Myrl, I would bet not---this one is about 10 feet tall

Paul, how is that, stoned?:)

Heather is is actually your nutsy uncle taking a leak:)

Amy, glad to help push you out of your rut

Hey that is my big sister commenting on my blog---how cool is that!!!  But Dottie, I must protest I took this picture this last spring when I was there---if you walk in past the barracades this is what it looks like----I swear.

Debi----I suspect they will----too cool to let slide

Steve----what ever works---ribit

Michael ----a bit stoned----but ok

James----I would hope so:)

Kate----good question----I suspect he will show up sooner or later

Mr Charles,

That frog is better looking than you I am afraid. The assistants are often better looking than the bosses.

Nutsy'

Posted by Steven L. Smith, Bellingham, Wa. Home Inspector (King of the House Home Inspection, Inc) over 2 years ago

I have been busy.  And I have seen this photo before.  You suggested he was a member of my family.  That cannot be!  He is too stern looking to be related to me!

Very kindly,

Croakster

I first thought it was a picture of me in the morning with out makeup.

now I think it is a shot of self after the makeup.  cw

Nutsy, in your case that is for sure true---especially when you break out the bikini

Croakster---all I can say is "ribit"

Cheryl, now you can't fool me----I would believe that you might have kissed some frogs but you are not likely to be one.
