Trying to figure that one out. Maybe you took a picture of the reflection in the water. Thanks for sharing.

Ha! I'm with Dan, I thought I needed glasses:)) I bet everybody will wonder what it is:))

Posted by Joanna Szwyd (Barnbrook Realty) almost 3 years ago

Debbie, yes it is a reflection in a tidal pool at Ruby Beach on the Olympic Penninsula

Dan---you would perhaps like a reflection of your Grand Tetons?:)

Posted by Charles Buell, Seattle Home Inspector (Charles Buell Inspections.com) almost 3 years ago

Joanna, I thought many would think it was upside down:)

Does it look better upside down?

The reflection looks like a monet.

I think maybe the impressionists just needed glasses!

Cool reflection picture. Had  me wondering for a bit.

Charles  - I was going to ask if it was a reflection off some body of water. But, I see that you already answered my question.

After I cleaned my glasses off, Charles, I realized this was a reflection in the water.  Beautiful.  I agree with Robert, though.  It's very impressionistic.  Pretty.

Robert, there is a good chance that as the impressionists got older their eyesight was a factor in the work they produced

John, thanks

Robert, thanks for stopping by

Heather---it does make your eyes do a double take:)

I thought this was one of your abstract paintings for sure.

Barbara, close but no cigar:)

I recognized it as a reflection, but it does have the look of a Monet (or someone) as Robert said.

Beautiful.

Hi Charles,

I also thought it to be a reflection. Just wasn't sure of what.

That's a humdinger of a thingamiggi photo Charles.  I like it.  But why is that tree crooked?  Or is that a distortion in the water?

Posted by Tammy Lankford/Broker Lane Realty Lake Sinclair-Central GA almost 3 years ago

James, it kind of dose

Jack thanks

Tony, I will reflect on that:)

Tammy, lots of times trees tip over when they are young and then start to grow straight which causes them to curve.  See it lots of times close to water.

Mr Charles,

I belive that is a periscope from a Russian submarine. No? I am ready to roll.

Nutsy

In keeping with the Monet theme... when I was at a museum in Paris I was trying to take a picture of a monet painting, and my camera wouldnt (couldnt) focus on it... I had to focus on the frame to take the picture... Laughing the entire time of course.
