OMG....it's alive....look at the track it left behind. I think you forgot your mask on your last inspection and look what happened....LOL
Hummmmm. I don't even know what it is??????
Nice contrast in color....what beautiful white sand you have!
Gail, it does sort of look like it is leaving a trail---maybe I should title it, "The Moss that Ate Seattle."
Mark, this is Seattle Moss in full bloom
Karen, REALLY white sand:) Actually it is moss on a concrete block wall.
ROTFLMHO
Hi Charles, I love moss...yep I knew what it was straight away. I use the preserved type quite a bit in my floral work, it adds a nice texture to the design.
It also feels good on your bare feet..oooh so soft!
Cynthia, I have always been fastinated by the patterns moss creates as it grows on surfaces. Like this moss growing on the gaps in some shingles.
What an interesting moss! I've never seen anything like it before, the thingies coming out of it. Very cool.
Debi
Wow Charles, this photo looks alot like a flentucacious abernactus. where did you take this photo?
Thanks Debi---we have lots of cool mosses here.
Sonny----I think you may have nailed it----even Google has no idea what you are calling it!:)
That's very interesting! I never would have guess that was moss. I knew it was something starting to grow but couldn't identify what for the life of me. Thanks for this one!
Kathy
Kathy, you are welcome. As a side note this picture is about full scale.
Charles, OK, This plant is crawling for the water. It has tracks!
It does kind of look like that doesn't it.
Hey, I have a question from my Boy Scout days, was it on the North side of the house?
Jack, interesting question----but this is Seattle----moss doesn't quite follow the rules:) This was on the South side but admittedly in a shady area.
Charles, whatever this is, I srot of like it! Well, it's a nice photo anyway. Not sure I'd appreciate it growning on my roof.
Patricia, around here it is pretty hard to find a roof without at least a little bit of the stuff.
Very kindly,

Croakster, just curious---but how do you distinguish your head from the rest of you?
